Five Senses of Judaism:
A hands-on community program for families with children ages 5 and under.
We let our youngest participants - see, taste, touch, smell and hear Judaism -- with our Experiential Five Senses of Judaism Program.
Children age 5 and under have a blast and learn about Judaism through activities that engage their senses.
Members and non-members can join the fun for free!
BAR/BAT MITZVAH
GRADES 7 & 8
At CBH, b’nai mitzvah are joyous occasions for the children, the families, and the whole congregation.
Our warm, easy-to-talk-to rabbi, knowledgeable b'nai mitvah coordinator, and caring education director work with each child to create a personal and very meaningful experience he or she will be proud of and remember forever.
Personal Experience
Your child will work one-on-one with Rabbi Zacharoff to craft a dvar torah that is relevant and meaningful.
Leadership Role
Your child will have the opportunity to lead the Saturday morning service and mentor younger children as they progress.
Mitzvah Project
Your child will put their values into practice and select a mitzvah project that they are passionate about.
